Floor Wrap Maintenance 101 - Cleaning & Care Guide
A floor wrap is designed to be durable, but the right cleaning and care can keep it looking vibrant throughout your event or display period.
Daily Cleaning Checklist
- Sweep or vacuum to remove dust, dirt, and debris.
- Wipe up spills immediately to avoid staining.
- Check for lifting edges and secure them with clear tape if needed.
The Right Cleaning Products
-
Best: Mild pH-neutral cleaner + damp mop.
-
Avoid: Harsh chemicals, bleach, oil-based cleaners, steam mops, or abrasive pads.
High-Traffic Event Tips
- Place mats at entrances to reduce dirt tracking.
- Assign staff to check and clean floors regularly.
- For dance floors, mop during breaks to maintain slip resistance.
Storage & Reuse
If the wrap is designed for reuse:
1. Remove gently, rolling with graphics facing out.
2. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
3. Avoid folding—creases can damage the print.
Pro Tip:
A wrap with a protective non-slip laminate will be easier to clean and maintain during events.
